Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrod Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tigran Kirakosyan in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Sydney Trujillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Miami Futbol Club and the Khachatryan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Trujillo. If Merlin Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merlin Castro to make the kick off. Jarrod Leary made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tigran Kirakosyan sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Khachatryan's Hu Wei Shu to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarrod Leary despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Khachatryan defense, Truman Crockett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jermaine Richmond. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jermaine Richmond should have stopped the shot. Khachatryan made a substitution. Zé Augusto Souza replaced Petros Oganesyan. 72 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Chance Adams came free, but Jermaine Richmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chance Adams in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jermaine Richmond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anton Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chance Adams, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Chance Adams cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jermaine Richmond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merlin Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrod Leary having to interfere.
