After some careless play in the Khachatryan defense, Kazimierz Traczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jermaine Richmond. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jermaine Richmond should have stopped the shot. Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Traczewski in the 10th minute of play. Tigran Kirakosyan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Baykan Erincer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mason Garland in the 13th minute of play. Baykan Erincer made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Merlin Castro sent off a good shot on target. Jermaine Richmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Traczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Antoine Schaefer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Schaefer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baykan Erincer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mason Garland in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Merlin Castro made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Paulo Renato Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Merlin Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tigran Kirakosyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 62nd minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Baykan Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baykan Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Caballero in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO got a freekick which was hit by Mason Garland. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Castro in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baykan Erincer saved DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting behind. Baykan Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Caballero in the 85th minute of play. Khachatryan's Marquis Kenny was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baykan Erincer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88th minute, one of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO. Baykan Erincer had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Merlin Castro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 89th minute, Merlin Castro made a precise shot to the right of Baykan Erincer. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Baykan Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tigran Kirakosyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Bernardo Caballero took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baykan Erincer. Baykan Erincer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
