Micah Alston might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micah Alston ran back to his position shaking his head. Tony Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Domingo Chin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When New England Minas's Edgardo Silva in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Antonio HotSPURS's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Tio Lio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Domingo Chin made a huge save. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonso Snider, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Domingo Chin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tio Lio in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tio Lio could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Domingo Chin however easily saved by the left post. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Fontaine in the 80th minute of the match. Alonso Snider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Nicholas having to make a save. Tio Lio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Chin having to make a save. With a little luck, San Antonio HotSPURS's Domingo Chin got control of the ball when Tio Lio tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Antonio HotSPURS's Domingo Chin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save San Antonio HotSPURS from getting a goal against them.
