Wow - I've seen loads of recent forum posts simply asking What's a Clan?

Here is an explanation to clear it up for all the new-comers to this game.



Clan is a...Group / Team / Power-Soccer Family

A group of Power-Soccer players, who play against each other, and sometimes against another clan. They have their own website/blog which all the clan members can go to check out the latest news. Everyone helps each other out and sometimes the low level players can learn alot by practising against some of the high levels players in the clan. They often have clan cups, (if the clan has a member in it's ranks, just like most clans do) and they make a password that only the clan knows so only the clan can join the cup.
It is a great way to learn more, become a better player, have more fun, and make more friends.


Ok that's about all you need to know about clans, so here's some commonly asked questions answered.



How do I join a clan?

Ask any clan member and they can contact their leader, and they will see wether you fit the requirements or not. Usually the requirements are descent rp, descent lvl,good sportmanship, and no record of bad behavior etc. but sometimes you will get variations on these requirements. If you want to join one of the official clans visit Powdersnow's Official Clans Thread. Remember through,you need to have club membership in order to join a clan and play clan cup now.

How many user can there be in a clan?
Currently up to 32 user can be in a clan. Each clan have 32 players and can have up to two co-captain. The role of the captain and co-captain of the clan is to act as a leader to the clan.

Do I need to give any personal info away or pay anything?

No. No personal info or payment is requirerd or ever needed. If someone you do not know asks you for any personal info or payment, always reject them. In many clans you are not even required to change your team name!

How do I make a clan myself?

Go to play. Under play,scroll to clan. If you are in a clan,un-joined the clan and go to create clan. From there on,create your own clan name and clan badge and soon your created clan will be formed. After all,go the clan discussion,and recruit member to join your clan there. Take note that you need to paid a certain amount of power token to form a clan.

Different types of clan:

There are three types of clan in the community:Fun loving clan,clan that love to play for rp and clan that love to play for both.


ATG and Dirty South are clan that prefer skilled player and prefer to play for RP.


CSXI,Ireland,Marx Brothers and Misfits are clan that just love to have fun. They do not care about Rp. Rather they just want to have fun and play fair at the same time.


TVST is a clan that play for fun and rp at the same time.

How do I find the right clan for me?

Browse the official clan list (link in Heddwch's post) and visit the various clan-blogs to see which clan fits your way of playing and act on PowerSoccer. Some clans are dedicated to a specific club or national team, others are "just" a bunch of good friends (or will become friends).
Some clans are very active in the community, others are active in playing matches.


It's all up to yourself to decide whether a clan fits your expectations.


A good advice: Don't look at the requirements until you have got the right feeling about the clan you would like to join. Then you can work on meeting the requirements, if you don't already.
