The pundits got this ending a bit wrong, many thanks to embr01l for the summary and some interesting facts:

Everyone went for Poland and Russia. Same here with me. In the end Greece showed the spirit they did in 2004 and Czechs fought through. Greece vs Germany is one to watch

As I see it, the final is now, against Germany. If we pass, no-one can stop us. Spain seems fed from titles and only France has shown the credential for everything, but I think we will manage them if we manage the Germans. We just have to give our 150% to win this "battle", which is also political.

P.S. It would be interesting to see the face of Marci and Haifisch then.

I am surprised about the outcome in Group A. Especially about Russia who showed a great counter football, but lacked in using chances to score in their matches, which cost them the quarter-final. As for the match Germany vs Greece now nothing unexpected will happen there, which means Germany wins. Of course the Greeks have a great fighting spirit and a strong defense and you can't underestimate this team. But I have no doubt that we will beat them.

I am not sure about that. Also, it's not certain that Greece is gonna defend for the whole 90 minutes. If I was Santos, I would want attack in the 1st 10 minutes or quarter of the game considering they can surprise their opponents like this, and then Greece will be less tired if the normal durance ends to be equal as they had one more day off and will have the enthusiasm on their side, so Germany MUST win before the aggregated time as then things will be difficult.

And being an underdog does not give psychological pressure to us, we play for whatever it comes, while Germany carries the burden of the favorite.

We also have 8 players who play/or have played in Bundeslinga, so we know how to face German footballers.

If everything goes well, a new big success for a small country like Greece is. If not, nothing happened, despite if Germany loses, and probably we might get Germans showing their underwear.

P.S. The Greek defence is a science, you will have to use your galloping imagination to break it for once.

I agree wit you s0meb0dy that the Germans are the one who have something to lose in this game. That's what it could make a hard and tough match like against Denmark.

Group A is a mega sensation!

Russia was to advance from one place, and Poland in the second and the opposite happened.

Poland has not demonstrated their skills.

Before Euro 2012 has not lost goals from five matches...
