The Official Match Challenge is a competition to see who can earn the most Official Match points before the end of the month. It’s a fun way to compete with your PS friends and earn some great prizes!

The goal is to accumulate the most Official Match points by May 22nd at midnight (server time - shown at the bottom right of your screen) (see your local time here). Points are calculated as follows:

All Official Matches (Quick Games and Tournament Matches) count
1 point for every win
-1 point for every loss or walkover
You cannot go below -10 points
Remember that you will play opponents based on your Rating average from the past 2 months.

First place:
A PS t-shirt, 30 Power Tokens and a lifetime Coach!
Second place:
A lifetime pair of shoes and 20 Power Tokens!
Third place:
A lifetime tattoo and 15 Power Tokens!
Fourth place: 15 Power Tokens!
Fifth place: 10 Power Tokens!

This is what said for Official Match hunt contest. Now check what has said in the second last paragraph....Today I am at Level 63 got the opponent between 86 to 99 thrice whose over all rank is between 24 to 480. Is this what called level match for the official match challenge? Can anyone tell me on which section PS Team are working actually to improve the game? Are they set a target to become Trillionear by the end of 2012? All they want to be a business tycoons.

The official match server now match you accordingly to the highest amount of RP you have for the last two months If I am not wrong.

For me,personally I love playing against tougher opponent. It no fun at all playing again those weaker opponent.

yea as des said you are matched up according to your best rank in last two months and not the current rank.

e.g:- if a user have 1900+ rp 2 months ago but now he has just 1300-1400 then it works and took the the higher rank of last two moths that is 1900 rp rank is taken to match up.

You know what is that about? It will never put a level 5 agaisnt a player that has level 99, but a level 63 against a level 99 is normal. If you are good, you can beat him easily.

What really matters. Which has the rp difference between you two?
