Remember when ps......
1. Allowed everyone to send friendly challenges to everyone?
2. You could enter tournaments no matter what?
3. Had a lot of shirt patterns for everyone?
4. You could join clans?

That was when i join in 08' Now i have seen that PS has burned to the ground with drastic changes. I feel that this is too much taken away and now many people are quitting this game.

Hope something good happens or this game is almost literally buried in a graveyard.

I don't know if this game is dead, but I have been told Pow is on a parental leave, and this is 7 months now. How long a parental leave is in Sweden (if you know)?

To play you have to pay

Without a club membership you can not play clan cups, official match(Quick Game),not play friendly challenges.

You can only play tournaments, if you have enough tickets.

There is so much to remember about the games past, but there will be more updates as most people do eventually see the new changes are really helpful. As I said in other threads, the crew needs the racks to keep this site up and going so we experience more of it in the future.

Guys to tell you the truth i feel non CMs should be able to play atleast 5 officials a day and to ensure fairness you should increase the amount for a market player.. ticket prices Are REALLY! REALLY X100 cheap get rid of Market players off the tickets make them availaible only with power tokens and make then more expensive> this should be applied to all coaches too.. :D Shoes and tattoos should be increased by a Power token each and PS should make things cheap only when there's a sale.. i know many people may not agree with this but i feel this is the Best thing to do for non Cms.. :)

PS has always been here and has made some great improvements over the time? Anyone remember the bug where someone could score from a corner kick header 99.99% of the time? I do and I for sure am glad that bug is dead and it's all thanks to the crew! Realize this: this game is a business and it needs a source of income in order to pay the crew to make the game that you guys play and enjoy better! If all you want is unlimited official matches, then the supporter package is your best bet.

Also, you say this game is "literally buried". Take a look around, people are still here and people are still playing the game. People have become members and supporters and are enjoying every benefit they get. The crew are putting every effort to deliver the best and enjoyable game for everyone to play. The Long Island Railroad wasn't built in a day.

tenniskid, for someone who's only logged in thrice in the last 2 years, you sure do seem to know all about PS and the business decisions that needed to be made by Power Challenge to keep this game going. The problem was that all the non-CMs were never buying CM because there was really nothing they couldn't do in the game except get XP bonuses, which frankly isn't enough of an incentive to purchase CM.

But hey, thanks for logging in 3 times in 2 years. We appreciate your support of PS and the community.

And yes, I know there was much more that non-CMs couldn't do before. Just didn't feel like going into that much detail for someone who won't see my reply until May 2013.

fixed minor grammar issues. hey, i'm only human. //KiL

That's not a rumour. That's what the then FA Desmond had told me. Well, ok, it may not be 7 months, but I am sure it's more than 2 months now absent on the pretext of a parental leave. Is he still working for PS? Surely this is not a permanent leave?

@ Tmk; anyone remembers the direct bug goal from the midfield? It's still here. 3 years now.

Surely PS had better times, but it's the same with the worldwide economy and I'm sure that they will success in the long term to get out of this valley.

Like keepitloose already stated, it's important how to draw the line. When you give non-cm too much, then they are satisfied and don't suuport the game financially. However you have to give the some benefits, so that they get to know and get to like the game. It's hard to find a compromise there and only the crew has the numbers and statistics which show if they have made the right decisions.

He has taken his vacations around march (as before that you clearly can see him online). I expected a bit more from you here.

The bug itself might still be existend, but listen: It had been fixed several times and the reason of it appearing again are everytime different reasons. So had a year ago the use of shoot and pass in specific key combination made the goalie unable to do anything, whilst today the goalie is reacting but will most likely fail if it is done right. 3 years ago it had been as well an other way to shoot that let the ball go in. Therefore it might be a midfield goal but the actual bug is still a different.

Um, PowerSoccer isnt dead. When everything was free, I personally believe that people just took advantage of the game. Not many people paid for it, and still back then, people were complaining about having cm. Back then, CM meant just having blue. Now It means playing and enjoying the game, getting into certain forums, and sometimes meeting new people.

Get what I mean? If I find it boring, I will instead go to some other place where I can have fun.

actually mate, you seem to have signed up in 08' but you dont know anything,
at that time there were no tournaments, plus leveling is so easy at 20's and 30 's that you can easily reach 40 in three days of game.
Since you are level 26 this means that you never liked the game,
and the last but not the least, you have again left now..so people stop posting.!!

Power Soccer is not dead, but isn't as active as it once was.
The Club Membership change probably caused this change, but isn't the only thing.

The biggest surprise for me is that Power Soccer did not get a new version for over 2.5 years now, while, in the past, there was a new version every half year. If this is caused because of the popularity of this version or the lack of money is a thing I don't know. But I hope there will be a new and better version any time in the future.
The fact that I still have active players on my friendlist says enough. I haven't played this game for over a year, but still every time I log in, I still have about 4 online friends on my friendlist. Friends that play this game for at least 2 years and most of them even longer. This says that this game doesn't get bored, people keep playing (and paying) because they like it.

Since the gaming scene does change with better graphics, Power Soccer has to change too, or people will walk over to play other games instead. I'm wondering when this change will come and I hope players will love the change.
PS will only "die" when it doesn't get any changes. I don't think this will happen in the near future.

ROFL. But why are people so late on this? these ridiculous updates have been established for almost a year now, deal with it as you can see the crew won't change anything atm.

If it is not to post at the Crew's forum section, he is online only a couple of days before going for VERY looooooooooong-time vacations and never had his chat open, but that's another story deviating much from the topic, so let it be outside of this.

haifisch87 wrote:

You don't expect anything at all from me.

All the ways you see it, if there is someone who expects something, then that is me from you.

First of all, I am older than you both in PS and in real, so, according to the law of Michael, I can have expectations and demands from you. It's after all the natural outcome of life.

Then, as an admin, you are the one at a servant's position. As an admin, you have agreed to provide services to this community, at the time you call this a community.

That means you are at USE and so people have certain expectations from you.

What did you expect? That I'd turn a blind eye to what I see and pretend that everything is getting on well here? If so, I am very curious (deathly curious) to know why you had that illusion.

What can any thinking being around foresee is that this game will be dead very soon if things don't change rapidly around, including policies, as at the moment is at the death's door, it is agonizing because simply the people don't say here but go.

Don't fool yourself with the politicians' part of crew. It's like saying that you replaced the material of a bottle with valuable liquid to them who drink it, that had broken, because of a fault at the construction with another material, which, the new one, resulted in breaking the bottle and spreading the liquid once more. It is the same.

Also, learn that no-one cares for the source of the problem, apart from admins and crew (the programmers of this game of course). The rest don't give a damn for any excuses coming from their side, especially when this bug (the result of it) has been going here for many years.

bladesman1 wrote:

Your argument is so weak that raises many doubts to me about how you even were an FMA more than once in the soon past: as it matters to the community feeling, he is saying that a column many people admire very much, because they can write a lot on it so people to interact with them and later they can even erase what they had written once before and re-write something else, that it is barely standing and you are responding to him "since you see it standing, everything is fine".

As it matters to the game play, you are complacent with the impression that the summer is approaching and many changes will be done there in it. After summer, there is Christmas very close, later New Year vacations and later Easter's. Fortunately, there are so many events someone can postpone things for very soon later, no?

A very good strategy, no?

By the way, I remember you saying that the community is decomposing, with other words of course, a month or so ago. What happened and you changed your thesis?

I totally understand what you say.. but i think what i mean is increase the price of the market players and get the Market players off the tickets list..?? try to make the Club Membership like 20 Power Tokens and increase the price of a 30 day market player like 15 tokens and mbo and dan like 20 a month.. maybe you will get more playing ps.. :)

My point was not an argument but a mere statement, for something to be dead it is not operational/alive. This game is operational and still running, just not as it was.
I do not have to justify my role as an FMA to you. All posts do not require a long winded answer. I am not an xA anymore so I will certainly not justify myself to some one who I really do not care about in real life.
