After manutd loss to Basel, peoples were talking about crisis at the club and that it will follow the path of Liverpool.
But manutd today proved their doubter wrong against. They show their hunger, their attacking, their goal again. No more nervousness. In truth, the defeat by Basel could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
For those doubting man u strength, look at their position in the league. In a season where paul scholes, gary, van der sar is not there and spaces are being filled up by youth and in an injuries hit season, they are still 2nd in the league and with only Liverpool and Man city conceding less than them at the moment.
Just because they got beaten by Man city 6-1 and getting knocked out of Champion league does not make them a dwindling force.
I also don't see them in a crisis, there just not that superior anymore like in the last years. like you said, when big names go and young players have to replace them, no team can be as strong as before i think. You will see the same thing happen when Xavi and Iniesta retire from Barcelona.
For me it's just strange to see that player like Rooney, seems like his best years are already over, and Nani fail in such imprtant games like against ManCity or Basel. They won't go down like Liverpool did in the last two years, because they still have the same great coach Ferguson, who can bring them to new glory.
I see not many football fans talking about ManCity's fail in CL and remember that they spent about 1 billion over the last years. It was maybe more expected that it fails like it did with Chelsea. ManUnited will have it much harder to win the title England this year, because ManCity seems pretty constant there, but they are not really in a crisis.
A few weeks ago Bayern Munich lost two matches in a row and lost their first place in the bundesliga and some talked about a crisis, but now they back at the top again, the way i excepected it. The real football fans and experts know when there is a crisis and when not.

Yes, I do not believe MU is in crisis, they have young players, and all they need is experience, once they gel together and get a
number of matches under their belt, MU will once again be a force to be reckoned with.
Their midfield COULD do with some reinforcing imo however.

well in saying tht i cant c united winning anything this yr apart frm europa league if taken seriously. Man city will knock them out of the fa cup, also the league is cities to lose n if they win against chelsea theyll be 5 points clear, out of the league cup to crystal palace (lol).
not a huge crisis but a pretty poor season so far
