I've been experiencing difficulties in getting to various power soccer pages and playing official games/tournaments. It takes so long to load a page or a game. Hope someone can help me. It's really frustrating.

Don't think so. All pages loads normally for me. Try re-installing game files if problem persist.

Before re-installing, try deleting the Power Challenge plug in on your computer then re-install it, there were new updates the Crew made and lots of people were having trouble with this and it could have been the server but most likely it has to be the version of the game you have. So follow those steps and see what happens as you go around Power Soccer.

Get a better operating system should normally sort it out. Either that or get a quicker computer, or clean your computer out (I believe tools can be downloaded to help with this) to increase it's speed, as it sounds as though this is the problem.

About the update speed, you can change that by opening your task manager and at the top there is a section that says View and click on there after you will see update speed put it a higher point then it is, the options are pause, low, medium, and lastly high. I have mine on high at the moment since it works faster with the internet speed.
