After seeing that the previous Daily Riddle went OFF THE CHARTS... literally! A lot of people seemed very disappointed that we had to close it!

So, how about we just start a new one! For the ones who are new to this, rules:

- When riddle is posted, first one to answer it, wins the point

- First to 10 points, gets the title "Powerchallenge RiddleMaster" and will have authority to take charge of the duty of RiddleMaster.

- Riddle posted at RiddleMaster's discretion [usually daily (hence the name)].

- No spam... like "what is this game?" or "how do i play" or "can i join?"

- RiddleMasters should only be those who have been in the past, or win the title by playing

- If the game dies at any point during its life, someone should bring it back to life and claim themselves as the RiddleMaster

So.... boys and girls... and those inbetween... get ready for the first riddle!

From the following scenarios, when are you most likely to survive? (Assume all will kill you)

A - Flip 5 tails in a row or get your head cut off

B - Roll snake eyes or eat cyanide for dinner

C - Roll a 7 twice (with two dice obviously) in a row or be drawn and quartered

D - Get dealt 2 aces (standard 52 card deck; 2 cards dealt) or jump from the top of Canary Wharf

:)

:) the correct answer is

A!

1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2= 1/32

this probability is just a tad greater that the others... cant be bothered to go through them all... but like

B = 1/6 x 1/6 = 1/36

well you get the idea...

New riddle:

Hehe, found this online :) but i really liked it...

I go up but at the same time go down.
Up towards the blue sky, and down towards the ground.
I'm present tense and past tense too,
so why don't you come for a ride, just me and you!
What am I?

An aeroplane?

An aeroplane flies up and down toward the sky and toward the ground.
An aeroplane is in the present tense when it is still in use and past sense when it is destroyed.

You can go for a ride along in the aeroplane alone too :p

sorry for the delay!

There are several chickens and rabbits in a cage (with no other types of animals). There are 72 heads and 200 feet inside the cage. How many chickens are there, and how many rabbits?

Let me know if these are two hard!!

No,it was not your fault. The riddle was still continuing after you left but the thread was closed due to the thread reaching it post limit.

loool helloman!

finally someone got it right!

1st - teachersgang - 1 pt!

Next riddle (again got this from the internet, but its really good!):

A girl was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the girl, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me £50, but if I cannot, I will pay you £50."

The girl looked around and saw no scale so she agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes she'll just say she weighs more or less.

In the end the girl ended up paying the man £50.

(assume that he doesn't do anything next except write down your exact weight)

How?

next riddle:

You need one gallon of oil in a barrel. How do you do this if you only have a three gallon container and a five gallon container handy?

Fill the three gallon container up, and empty it into the five gallon container. Then, fill the three gallon container up again, then pour 2 gallons of it into the five gallon container. So there is one gallon left in the three gallon container, and you pour it into the barrel.

pour 3 gallon in the 5 jug, then with another 3, only 2 goes in, so you are left with 1 gallon in the 3 gallon jug.

I hope teachersgang is wrong :)

Fill the 3 gallon jug up, pour it into the 5 gallon one. Fill the 3 gallon jug up again, and slowly start pouring it into the 5 gallon jug (which already has 3 gallons in it). When the 5 gallon jug is full, stop pouring. You have 1 gallon left in 3 gallon jug.

Kinda what teachergang said, but i didnt know if it had to be more descriptive :)
