with 59 words, this is way below the result i would get in my language.

We dont have so much "q", "y", "w", and double letters inside words.
This is why i get 7 mistakes first try, 4 mistakes second try, and 1 mistake at the final try.
The speed decreased as i followed the accuracy.

This is why i belive this kind of test is for native english speakers.

Sry, i was supra-estimating the language:
in romanian i only get 76, which, comparing to the 59 in english, is not so much.
It is a difference but is slight.

You should try this in Greek. The difficulty is unmeasurable, personally doubt I can pass 30 words per minute. The Greek language has genders, many prefixes, endings, there are thousand words and every word comes from somewhere, has roots, it's a descriptive one like the Latin language. The thing that sucks big time there is the accent on every word, which is a combination of three buttons in the keyboard.

Also, that is why someone can create his own words, two in one et c. and that is an allowed thing to do. :)

Tried the swedish test and since there wasnt no theme to write just words with no meaning to each other it was really harder than writing a text for real.
yet i did have 52. but it was really bad.

Im a self taught typer. Remember im older than you lot, and didn't put my hands on a keyboard till about 20 years ago when i was already an adult. You lot have been typing since before you went to school.

As i told drogs in PM, two fingers are taped together at the moment with an injury, so my score (admittedly i just did one try so i wasn't sure what i was doing) was too embarrassing to mention here.

Same here, I have my own technique. This is why I get so many typos :P

no offence jefco.. once my mum was on the computer and i was sitting right beside her, and than she starts to stare at the keyboard, and i was like whats the problem, ma. And than i found out she was looking for 'v'. :L

Well, give her time to gain experience and soon she be typing as fast as anyone of us :p
